Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame medal presented to Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden on September 15, 1990, in Lansing, Michigan. The medal, 3″ in diameter, features an engraved design of a plane flying over the state of Michigan, with encircling text: “Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame”; reverse of medal is engraved: “Alfred M. Worden, Enshrined Sept. 15, 1990.” The medal includes its original red-white-and-blue ribbon and hand-crafted wooden presentation case, which measures 7″ x 9″ x 2″. In fine condition, with some wear to case. Accompanied by the original invitation, and Worden’s lifetime membership card for the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame, which identifies him as member “263.”
