Appealing color 23.75 x 36 poster issued for the Lake Placid 1980 Winter Olympics, which features a watercolor painting by John Gallucci of two skiers cruising below Whiteface Mountain. The lower border shows the Games emblem and reads: "Lake Placid, XIII Olympic Winter Games, February 13-24, 1980." Framed to a slightly larger size. In fine condition. A recognized watercolorist and a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society 1953, Gallucci was an educator in the Lake Placid area for most of his career and was chosen to represent his home with a group of 1980 Winter Olympic Posters.
