Group of seven original vintage glossy wirephotos, ranging in size from 9 x 6 to 10 x 8, dating from March 1961 to December 1962, all showing President John F. Kennedy receiving gifts from dignitaries and foreign leaders. Subjects include: JFK receiving a colorful flag tapestry from Liberian Vice President William R. Tolbert; Mayor Willy Brandt presenting Kennedy with a replica of the Berlin City Hall bell; JFK receiving a huge wooden sword from the American Cancer Society's Wallace Tudor; Kennedy being presented with a brass art sculpture from Oke Assogba of Dahomey; JFK inspecting a flag embellished with battle streamers, presented to him by Army Secretary Cyrus Vance; JFK accepting an historic Hebrew Torah from Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath; and JFK receiving an engraved box with a Grand Cross medallion from Greek Orthodox Patriarch Benedictos I of Jerusalem. Most bear date stamps and affixed newspaper clippings on the reverse. In overall very good to fine condition, with various editorial marks, notations, and touch-ups, and overall spotting to the surface of the photo of Kennedy with Benedictos I.
