Three unsigned "Ecos de Belen" yearbooks from Fidel Castro's teenage years, dating to 1943, 1944, and 1945. In the 1943 yearbook, Castro is pictured as a member of the basketball team, soccer team, and third-year class. In 1944, he is again shown with the basketball team and as part of the fourth-year class. In the 1945 yearbook, he is shown as a member of the graduating class, with a biographical blurb that praises his academic and athletic abilities, and notes (translated): "He will study law and we do not doubt that he will fill the book of his life with brilliant pages." All have been rebound and are in overall very good condition.
