Five items sourced directly from the Seattle home of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, including: a German-language tri-fold booklet for November 1989 concerts at the Forum in Enger, Germany, 4 x 5.5, with Nirvana pictured on the front and the first page listing a Tad and Nirvana concert on November 10, 1989. Curiously, the last line of the concert description is in English, and reads: “Nirvana are the most obvious candidates for the post-Dinosaur-fuzz-pedal-pop-trip prime exponents.” Also included are four backstage passes: two laminated “All Access” passes for Hole concerts, with one issued to Courtney Menelly; a sticker pass for a Hole concert dated November 14, 1994, issued to “Candy”; and an “After Show” sticker pass for a Butthole Surfers and Stone Temple Pilots concert. In overall very good to fine condition. Hole played with Veruca Salt at Seattle’s Moore Theater on November 14, 1994, as part of the Live Through This Tour. Nirvana and Tad joined forces for a 42-day, 37-show European tour in late 1989 as part of the Heavier Than Heaven Tour.
During the early 1990s, the consignor of this group lot worked as security for Kurt Cobain and then later as a night watchman at his Seattle home at 171 Lake Washington Boulevard East. This group lot of tour passes and booklet was gifted to him during his time of employment.
