Description

Revolutionary War-era colonial currency from New Jersey in the amount of 18 pence (NJ-176, March 25, 1776, Serial #48450, Plate B), graded PCGS About New 53. The obverse is signed in ink, "Rob't Smith," "Jno: Johnston," and "John Smyth," and the reverse boasts the ominous warning: "To counterfeit is Death."
