Grouping of seven color first edition charts for the Apollo 8 mission, ranging in size from 24 x 20 to 41.5 x 13.5, which includes: an Apollo Translunar/Transearth Plotting Chart, dated December 11, 1968; a set of three Earth Orbit Charts, sheet 1 and sheet 2 (2), dated November 26, 1968; and a set of three Lunar Orbit Charts (1st and 10th revolutions), with differing launch dates of December 21, 23, and 25, 1968. Each prepared under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Rolled and in overall fine condition, with scattered creases and some wear to edges.
