Air Force general (1891-1974) who commanded American bombing forces in Europe and the Pacific during World War II. Three items: an off-white 5 x 3 card signed in fountain pen by Carl Spaatz; a vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Spaatz in his military uniform, signed in fountain pen; and a TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, Newsweek letterhead, June 17, 1959, addressed to Ken Browne, in part: "Enclosed please find the picture autographed as you requested. I am no longer on active duty and haven't been since 1948." In overall very good to fine condition, with paperclip impressions to both the photo and signed card.
