Empty display case which once housed 24 1965 Topps wax boxes. This 16.5 x 11.5 x 8 inch display case features drawings of Harmon Killebrew, Sandy Koufax, and Mickey Mantle, similar to the actual images on the individual wax boxes. While the box itself is in GOOD condition with multiple dents, a few small tears, and an area of water staining on the bottom, the images of the three Hall of Famers are unaffected, and the box still displays admirably. In fact, it is amazing an outer box like this even exists, with the presence of the original mailing label (from "Topps Chewing Gum") and taped seals making it even more desirable. When actual wax display boxes from this era are nearly impossible to find, the outer shipping boxes from these years are virtually nonexistent, especially one with actual Hall of Famer images on the side panels.
