Influential American jurist (1872-1961) best known for his opinions on contract law, economics, and the First Amendment. Two TLSs, both one page, 5.75 x 6.75, Judge Learned Hand's Chambers letterhead, dated June 11, 1947 and February 6, 1952. Both addressed to Ken Browne, with Hand expressing appreciation for his letters and forwarding autographed photographs, with the later letter reading, in part: "I am much gratified that you and your wife should have known about me at all and rate me as highly as your letter seems to indicate." In overall fine condition, with paperclip impressions to the upper edges. Accompanied by an original mailing envelope.
