(American International, 1962) Original color 14 x 36 insert movie poster for the American International release of the 1962 science fiction horror film The Brain That Wouldn't Die. Directed by Joseph Green and starring Jason Evers, Virginia Leith, and Eddie Carmel, the film's storyline concerns a doctor who keeps his girlfriend's head alive after she is decapitated in a car crash and then sets out to find her a new body. The poster depicts Leith as the disembodied Jan Compton attached to medical equipment with bold film title below and upper portion reading: "Alive…Without a Body…Fed by an Unspeakable Horror from Hell!" Lower border bears an NSS caption line and is numbered "62/244." In very good condition, with overall creasing.
