Tragic original vintage glossy 9.25 x 7.25 silver gelatin photo of Marilyn Monroe being wheeled on a stretcher into Doctors Hospital in Manhattan, with husband Arthur Miller in the background, where she underwent emergency surgery after losing her baby in August 1957. Reverse bears a New York Daily News credit stamp. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, and an area of buffing to the emulsion above Marilyn's body.
