Yastrzemski proved a vital role player in the Red Sox's trip to the World Series in 1975. The Red Sox battled with Cincinnati's 'Big Red Machine' over a seven-game classic, with the Reds ultimately going ahead 4-3 in the top of the ninth on a Joe Morgan bloop single.
