Fabulous Northwest Africa (NWA) 11303 lunar meteorite slice, comprised of lunar feldspathic breccia. The full slice weighs 5.2 grams and measures approximately 38 mm x 33 mm x 2 mm. This is an actual fragment of the moon, identified as a feldspathic regolith breccia by Drs. Irving and Kuehner at the University of Washington. Among the rarest materials on Earth, this lunar meteorite was expertly prepared in the lab, using a special saw to show off its marvelous fragmented (brecciated) interior. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Geoff Notkin of Aerolite Meteorites Inc. and the TV show Meteorite Men, as well as a specimen identification card.
