Handsome enameled commemorative medal from the 26th Triennial Conclave of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States, held in Boston from August 26-31, 1895. The lower medal, 2″ x 1.75″, depicts the Seal of the Grand Commandery portraying St. George slaying a dragon. It is suspended, by two rings, from the cross bar crowned by a knight with the word “Boston” flanking the Coats of Arms of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, which is engraved on the reverse “M’fd. by E.L. Logee & Co., Providence RI, Pat. Jan.1.95.” The entire medal measures 1.75″ x 3.25″. In fine condition.
