Superb grouping of eight vintage pencil signatures of members of the 1934 New York Yankees team on a light green 4.25 x 5.75 album page, including: Lou Gehrig, Burleigh Grimes, Johnny Murphy, Jack Saltzgaver, Russ Van Atta, Sam Byrd, Ben Chapman, and Jimmie DeShong. Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder. In fine condition. The consignor notes that these autographs were obtained at the Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., by a young boy in 1934. A fantastic grouping from a classic Yankees team, highlighted by the large, clear Gehrig signature in the center.
