Appealing group lot of four 2.5 x 4 unsigned carte-de-visites of Abraham Lincoln from the mid-to-late 1860s. The images include: Lincoln sharing a book with his 10-year-old son Tad, entitled “Pres. Lincoln & Son”; a similar image of Lincoln reading with Mary Todd, Tad, and Robert, entitled “President Lincoln and his Family”; an artistic depiction of Lincoln embraced by George Washington as he ascends to heaven, entitled “Washington & Lincoln (Apotheosis)”; and a bust-length portrait of Lincoln, with period ink notations on reverse, “Abraham Lincoln, Assassinated April 14th 1865." In overall fine condition, with the family photo very slightly trimmed.
