Group of five mid-1980s Prince publications, including: a softcover publication, "Prince: Rock's Purple Reign" by Jon Bream, published by Collier in 1984; The Year of the Prince, softcover, published in 1984 by Sphere Books; Prince In His Own Words, softcover, published in 1984 by the Omnibus Press, complete with poster insert; a black-and-white softcover book entitled “Prince” which reprints various news and magazine articles about the artist, published circa 1984; and Prince by D. L. Mabery, hardcover with dust jacket, published in 1985 by the Lerner Publications Company of Minneapolis. Also includes a color glossy 5 x 3.5 unpublished private photo of Prince during the Purple Rain Tour. In overall fine to very fine condition, with a few small punctures to the back of the dust jacket for the Mabery book. The hardcover, out-of-print Mabery book is extremely difficult to find, and it was among the earliest hardcover publications dedicated exclusively to Prince.
