Three TLSs, each signed “Gerald R. Ford,” one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, dated between 1987 and 1988. Each letter is addressed to Bill Breseman. The earliest, July 15, 1987, in part: “You were most generous in your observations on my service as President in your letter…I thank you for this support of the Ford Administration during our difficult challenges at home and abroad while I was in the White House”; the second, November 23, 1987, in part: “Thank you for sending me a copy of the book, ‘A Day in the Life of America’”; and the third, November 10, 1988, in part: “I wish to thank you for your kindness in sending me the beautiful book for my 175th birthday.” In overall fine to very fine condition. Each is accompanied by its original mailing envelope bearing a pre-printed free frank.
