Collection of four Soviet space statues: a circa 1950s die cast model of the Russian rocket scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky posing triumphantly beside a large metal rocket, standing 14.5″ tall, replicating the monument designed by sculptor Faidish Krandiyevsk, and unveiled in 1957 in Tsiolkovsky's hometown of Kaluga; a popular 10″ tall sculpture known as 'To the Stars,' portraying a godlike figure throwing a rocket into space; and two 7.5″ tall sculptures known as 'Stratonaut' set upon black pentagonal bases (one with small plaque in Cyrillic). In overall very good to fine condition.
