Classic glossy 10 x 8 Island Records publicity photo of U2 from 1987, signed in black felt tip, “Bono, 87,” “Edge,” “Adam,” and “Larry.” In fine condition, with trivial brushing to Bono’s signature. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL and a letter of provenance from Jeff Gold of Recordmecca, stating that he personally obtained the photo from the band’s publicist, Alvenia Bridges, who had it signed at a press conference on May 10, 1987; also includes an original schedule for the press conference. A relatively early example of the utmost desirability.
