Collection of five items signed by the successors of Napoleon Bonaparte, including: a handwritten endorsement in pencil by Napoleon III, signed "LN," on a manuscript petition addressed to him as Prince-President of the Second Republic; an ANS by Napoleon III transmitting his autograph; two LSs by Eugenie, the last empress consort of the French as the wife of Napoleon III; and an ALS by their son Napoleon, Prince Imperial, to Cardinal Bonaparte, in part (translated), "I beg your Highness to place my respectful hommage at the feet of the Very Holy Father." In overall very good to fine condition. Accompanied by a collection of unsigned cabinet photos and cartes-de-visite of the family and some other related ephemera.
