Remarkable pair of unused official 1964 Beatles sneakers by Wing Dings, manufactured by NEMS Enterprises Limited in Saco, Maine, women’s size 65M, bearing blue canvas uppers with facsimile signatures and headshots of each band member, off-white rubber soles, and polka dot Wing Dings insoles. The inner heel lining of each sneaker features printed part numbers, “C03278, S11944,” each of which correlate with the included original matching Wing Dings shoebox, 11.5 x 4.5 x 3.25, showing images of The Beatles with facsimile signatures on the cover. The interior of the box bears the trademark logo of the Hague Sprague Corp. of Lynn, Massachusetts, with part number, “W–7078–B.” In fine condition.
