Three items: an original unused pass for the proceedings of the Military Commission that tried the conspirators following Lincoln’s assassination, 3.5 x 2, boldly signed in black ink by David Hunter, president of the Commission; an exceptionally sharp modern albumen print of Alexander Gardner’s ‘Gettysburg Lincoln,’ taken on November 8, 1863, image size of 3.75 x 4.75 and affixed to a 6.5 x 8.5 mount, printed by the Abraham Lincoln Bookshop in 2004 directly from a copy negative taken from the original; and an 11 x 14 enlarged cardstock print of the same image. In overall fine condition.
