David Ruffin

American soul singer and musician (1941–1991) most famous for his work as one of the lead singers of the Temptations. Set of two identical DSs, each one page, 9.25 x 17, February 5, 1973. Standard AGVA engagement contract between Ruffin and Herman Nash, in which the former agrees to “present his act…as a vocalist…at the Paladium Club in the city of Atlanta, Georgia,” on February 18, 1973, for a total sum of $1750. Both signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Ruffin and countersigned by Nash. Documents are stapled together at the top, with attached riders additionally signed by Ruffin.
