Original 13.5 x 29.75 Australian daybill for the Ken Russell film Tommy, signed in black felt tip, “Pete Townshend,” “Roger Daltrey,” and “Eric, 2007.” In fine condition, with expected folds and light scattered creases. Originally obtained by in-person collector Richard Simpkin, who mentions his encounters with these Tommy musicians in his book, Richard & Famous, on pages 20 and 209. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Simpkin, this poster was signed by Townshend at a Park Hyatt Hotel in Sydney in 2003, by Daltrey while he was touring throughout Australia in 2000, and by Eric Clapton at an international airport in 2007.
