An appealing Hispanic female dancer doll, measuring 9″ tall, displayed on a wooden base which was initialed on the bottom in blue pencil by Jacqueline Kennedy, “J.” The well-detailed doll features a meticulously painted face and is clad in a vibrant red, yellow, and black dress, as well as attractive green and white-beaded jewelry. Accompanied by a typed note on White House letterhead, reading: “Have just hear [sic] that Boudin is leaving for Puerto Rico tomorrow—hope you both have a wonderful time.” Scattered soiling, otherwise fine condition. The consignor’s uncle’s name was Bill, and he helped Jackie redecorate the White House.
