Joey Ramone’s personally-owned original James Rizzi artwork entitled ‘Girls.’ Mixed media artwork features three cut-out images of women in short skirts, each approximately 3.5″ long, and attached atop small wooden blocks to a 3.5 x 5.5 off-white card, signed in colored pencil, “‘Girls’ James Rizzi 1/5 1982.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 6.25 x 8.25. In fine condition. Rizzi (1950–2011) was a pop artist from Brooklyn, New York, known for his bright and vivid three-dimensional artwork. He designed artwork for Ramone’s May 2001 memorial concert.
