Incredibly rare and exceptionally large color ad poster for Presley’s engagement at Del Webb’s Sahara Hotel in Lake Tahoe, 23.75 x 48, printed on heavy thick pressboard. Poster features a large image of Elvis in a blue jumpsuit, a printed signature in the lower right, and venue information printed along the bottom for his two-week engagement in 1976. Poster has rounded edges and holes to the corners and sides for mounting purposes. Poster is affixed to a slightly larger piece of black foamcore. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light toning and soiling, a few dings and creases to top and bottom edges, and a few small stains from adhesive along the top edge of image. As Presley’s popularity continued into the 1970s, fewer on-site posters were produced, with a majority made in 1970 during his return to live performances. Only a small handful of posters are known to exist for any of Presley’s Nevada performances, with most only indicating the venue and dates, not presenting as much information or impressive an image as offered here.
