Dee Dee Ramone’s personally-owned and -worn Tiffany watch. This rare BigTime stainless steel digital model features a matching bracelet-style band and a red face, with “Tiffany & Co.,” in the lower left area of the face. Reverse is engraved “Dee Dee Ramone, Sire Records,” and was presented to the musician by Seymore and Linda Stein after signing his first record deal with Sire Records. In fine condition, with watch in need of a new battery. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dee Dee’s former wife Vera, which reads, in part: “Dee Dee was the only Ramone to receive a watch when they signed their first record deal as he was both Linda and Seymore’s favorite Ramone. He wore it proudly and it started his craze for watches. Dee Dee is the only person who has ever worn this watch.” Also included are two color printouts of a band photo taken circa 1976–1977, which show Ramone wearing the watch. RR Auction COA.
