Description

Dee Dee’s jacket worn on the cover of his first solo album

Dee Dee Ramone’s personally-owned and -worn jacket. Black jacket, made by La Rocka, features a zip-up front and is accented by turquoise suede on the pockets and shoulders. Ramone originally purchased the jacket in the late 1980s at the famous Trash and Vaudeville clothing shop at St. Marks Place in New York City, and can be seen wearing it on the front cover of his 1989 solo album Standing in the Spotlight. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dee Dee’s former wife Vera. Standing in the Spotlight marked a radical departure from the Ramones punk rock, spanning from rock and roll to old-school hip hop. RR Auction COA.
