Darrow…says that about the Year 1907, he bought 25000 shares of the ‘Gertie’ Mining Stock…he never endorsed said certificates of shares to anyone…said shares were left in possession of one, D. C. Coates…for safe keeping; that he is unable to trace or find this stock; that he in now the owner of said stock.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 12.5.
