DS, signed “Walter E. Disney,” one page, 8.5 x 13, May 21, 1956. Third page of a document related to the transfer of 150 shares of stock in WED Enterprises. Nicely signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Disney and countersigned by William H. D. Cottrell. In fine condition, with expected document wear and a diagonal crease to the left side. Accompanied by photocopies of the first two pages of the document. The primary business of WED Enterprises was in overseeing the construction and operations of Disneyland. Cottrell was Walt Disney’s brother-in-law and worked on films such as Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan. This document dates to within a year of Disneyland’s opening, which occurred on July 17, 1955. A wonderful family association related to the famous theme park. Pre-certified Phil Sears.
