Original color 17.25 x 24.25 poster for the Strawberry Fields Festival, held in Mosport, Ontario, on August 7–9, 1970, featuring such acts as Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Mountain, Sly and the Family Stone, and many more. Poster is affixed to an identical size mount. In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface marks. John Brower, along with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, had originally planned to host the Toronto Peace Festival at Mosport Park in July 1970, but they ran into numerous roadblocks. Without John and Yoko, Brower moved forward with plans to host a festival in New Brunswick, named the Strawberry Fields Festival. After more roadblocks, Brower shifted the location back to Mosport Park in Ontario, only this time he thinly disguised the event as a championship motorcycle race. RR Auction COA.
