Description

A voracious, all-absorbing reader, Jack Kennedy turned all idle moments of leisure to devouring every sort of magazine, report, newspaper, or book. On a sunny Sunday, the senator skims a paper while squinting against the sun

Original first-generation 10 x 8 glossy photo of John Kennedy sitting outside reading a copy of the Christian Science Monitor as Jackie looks on over his shoulder. Reverse of photo bears a Three Lions Inc. stamp. In fine condition. One of the most voracious readers to make it to the White House—and one who had taken courses in speed-reading and comprehension—Kennedy’s aides often marveled at his ability to grasp written content at little more than a glance. Published in Camelot at Dawn, Johns Hopkins University Press, 2001. RR Auction COA. From The Max Lowenherz Collection: for more information click here.
