Signed and inscribed on the half-title page in blue ink, “To Marsha Owen, with warm regards and best wishes from her friend—Evelyn Lincoln.” At the conclusion of the prologue, Lincoln added an ANS, in full: “These two men were poles apart and it was interesting to have to opportunity to observe their relationship first hand.” Autographic condition: very fine. Book condition: VG+/None. Navy cloth-covered boards with gilt title on spine and emblem on front cover; minimal wear to edges, with gentle bumps to upper corners; otherwise NF condition.
