DS, signed “Gertrude Rainey,” two pages, 8.5 x 11, December 12, 1923. Royalty agreement between the Chicago Music Publishing Company and Rainey for a song titled ‘Walking Blues,’ with Rainey receiving two cents for each piano copy sold, as well as 25% of the royalties for mechanical reproduction. Signed on the second page by Rainey and Lovie Austin, and witnessd by legendary A&R man J. Mayo Williams. In fine condition, with expected document wear.
