John’s personally-owned guest medal from the first inauguration of Bill Clinton and Al Gore, held in Washington, DC, on January 20, 1993. Medal consists of a 3.75″ long red, white, and blue ribbon with a 2 x 1.5 White House medallion at the end, bearing a Bastian maker’s mark to reverse. Ribbon is emblazoned with cursory details of the event, and is affixed at the top to a pin that reads, “Guest.” Nicely presented in a blue velvet display box. In fine condition, with the ribbon reattached to the guest badge. John had performed at the Inaugural Gala on January 19, along with other entertainers such as Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand.
