Eldest daughter (1461–1522) of Louis XI of France and his second wife, Charlotte of Savoy. She held the regency of France from 1483 until 1491, making her one of the most powerful women in the late 15th century. Untranslated manuscript LS in French to the Duke of Milan, signed “Anne de France,” one page, 11.25 x 8.5, no date. Seal once affixed to the left side is absent.
