Second daughter of Czar Nicholas I (1822–1892). Scarce ALS in French, signed “Olga,” one page both sides, 7 x 4.5, embossed royal letterhead, April 13, 1880. Letter to “Chere Comtesse.” In full (translated): “It is with great pleasure that my husband and I accept your kind invitation for this evening. I am very grateful to le Zeserone for having taken upon herself the responsibility of overcoming your concerns, and thus making it possible for us to have the pleasure of seeing you this evening.” In fine condition, with some mild toning along the three vertical folds.
