Brief note of thanks for sent condolences after the loss of her ex-husband on board the Titanic. In full: “I am so grateful for your sympathy & your thoughts.” Archivally triple-cloth-matted and framed with the original black-bordered mailing envelope, addressed in Astor’s hand, and photo of her husband to an overall size of 22.5 x 16.5.
