In part: “A notice from you that I had been elected as a non-resident member of your society was a surprise as well as a gratification to me. I had not supposed that my name was known to any extent in the great state of Texas. I enclose and mail with this some photographs of eminent men.” In fine condition, with light wrinkling to upper corners from adhesive residue to reverse.
