Russian violinist (1891–1967), who began his virtuosic career as a child and played Carnegie Hall at age 17. His recording career spanned six decades, and in 1943 his record sales exceeded two million. Uncommon original 6.5 x 4.25 cabinet photo of Elman playing his violin, signed and inscribed at the bottom of the image in black ink.
