ALS in French, signed “A Dumas,” one page, 5 x 8, no date. Letter addressed to “Nadar,” undoubtedly to photographer Felix Nadar. In full (translated): “I have learned that you have made a very beautiful portrait of my friend Jangillon—Quickly make me a gift of two prints.” Reverse of second integral page bears an address panel in Dumas’s hand, “Nadar,” and signed “A.
