In part: “I…am very much obliged for your kindness in sending the handsome photograph of President Roosevelt and his family, which I am glad to have. In regard to a photograph of myself, I am going to be frank with you and say that I am very desirous to continue the avoidance of finding myself included among the frequently published photographs in the daily papers of the country, which is a sort of publicity I dislike very much.
