Pseudonym of Gaspard-Félix Tournachon (1820–1910), a French photographer, caricaturist, journalist, novelist, and balloonist. Rare original 4.25 x 6.25 cabinet self-portrait by Nadar, signed and inscribed in black ink in French and signed “Nadar.” In fine condition, with a few bends and impressions to lower portion of image and border, a minor crease through last stroke of signature, and a few spots to background of image.
