Second wife of President Theodore Roosevelt (1861–1948) and First Lady from 1901 to 1909. Very nice original 4 x 6.5 cabinet photo by Schloss of New York, signed in the lower border in black ink, “Edith Kermit Roosevelt, April 15, 1918.” Reverse bears neatly penned collector’s notations. In fine condition, with toning to darker portions of image, visible only at an angle, and some slight curling to vertical edges. RR Auction COA.
