Unusual ‘ghost signature’ done by Carl Sandburg. Sandburg has written an admirer’s name, “Carl Haverlin,” vertically on an off-white 9 x 7.25 sheet, and folded the signature in half to produce a ghost design. Next to the design Sandburg writes “Carl Haverlin as A Tree of Life. Love & blessings, Carl Sandburg.” Also included is a second ghost signature by Sandburg, on an off-white 5.5 x 4.25 sheet, with Sandburg writing “Remembrance Rock.” In fine condition.
