Large grouping of 29 original plus vintage news photos depicting the Big Train throughout his life, dating from the 1920s–1940s and beginning with a 1927 photo showing his inauguration into the Blackfeet Indian tribe. Other photos show him as a bottling company salesman, posing with Calvin Coolidge, at a welcoming celebration at Senator Stadium, receiving an award, during his political career, with a Fox Terrier, at home, as broadcaster and baseball manager and with his son in the hospital. The majority are originals, some vintage wirephotos and a few others are period photos with later generation images (a 1920s photo showing him back in 1907).
