In part: “I am so sorry to hear the bad news about your mother…Am so sorry, too, that your father is in such a wretched condition. And how terribly he will miss your mother.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, and an 8 x 6 engraved vignette of the White House, signed in black ink, “Bess Wallace Truman.” In fine condition.
